Hey all you Bimmerheads, Scott and Patti Sturdy would like to invite you to the biggest vintage BMW shindig on the east coast. Last year we had nearly 300 vintage BMWs in attendance from all over the country. Check the September 2009 issue of the BMW CCA magazine Roundel for a great write up of the event!

We’re going to mix things up a little for 2010, first change will be the music. After 6 years of oompah music, we will be featuring a really great rock-a-billy band from Durham NC called Straight 8’s who will play at the winery on Saturday. Next, we will be eliminating the Saturday morning drive because people have mentioned that the event is getting so big now that they don’t have enough time on Saturday to see all the cars and talk to all the people and taste all the wine. Don’t worry though, we will have drives on Friday and Sunday.

After working on the event poster and coming up with what looks like a vintage racing movie poster, I decided that this will be the theme this year. We will be featuring BMW race cars and will also be highlighting factory ///M cars, and will have plenty or race themed schtuff throughout the weekend.
